NBO, RPCC launch bike loan program

The National Bicycle Organization (NBO) in partnership with the Rizal Prime Consumers Cooperative (RPCC) launched on August 20 a bike loan program through a post on their Facebook page.

The program aims to make bicycles more affordable for aspiring bike commuters by providing zero interest loans. Qualified applicants can choose among bikes selected by the NBO and purchase through partners while availing of payment terms ranging from 3 to 24 months, or as low as Php 300 monthly. RPCC holds pre-membership education seminars daily for those who are interested to gain membership and be prioritized for the bike loan program.

The NBO is one of the biggest bicycle organizations in the country and advocates bike commuting as an alternative mode of transportation. They claim to have taught over 6,000 people how to bike through their weekend learning programs held weekly in Taguig and Quezon City.

Interested applicants may contact the National Bicycle Organization through their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/nationalbicycle.org.ph/
